RE: Let it Snow!
OK, I officially take back my discouraged comments about the amount of snow we’re getting.
We have about a foot in our front yard now. The snowplow was by a while ago, but only scraped a few inches from the road. Since then, we’ve had quite a bit of accumulation, and lots of cars driving by packing it down. The road is a solid white pack of compacted snow over ice. People get stuck at the stop sign on our corner regularly. Most manage to back up and make a run for it. Others back up, turn around, and go back the way they came. I had to help one get unstuck a few minutes ago, before he took out our mailbox.
My snowbug melted and fell over after the first post. I partially rebuilt him, but the snow for the last couple of days has been too powdery to work with. I think it might be different now, but I’m done making snowdudes for now.
